Sugar Artist

Dathern has become an artist in gum paste (sugar paste) flowers, rolled fondant, pulled sugar flowers and cold porcelaine (tm).  She has been designing bride, groom, anniversary cakes and teaching classes/demonstrations for high school students and International Cake Exploration Societe' (ICES) Days of Sharing for approximately thirty seven years.  Her cakes have been featured in the local newspapers, national and international cake magazines and she has many cakes featured in the ICES Newsletter which is printed eleven months a year.
